Abut the World Sundial Day

The proposal of World Sundial Day was originally made by Esteban Martínez Almirón on website Reloj Andalusí. It is proposed to celebrate the World Sundial Day on the March Equinox, the day of the year on which the shadow in sundials casts a straight line on a plane and the day has a duration approximately equal to the one at night. The idea of WSD is supported by many individuals and organizations. You can sign a petition on Change.org.
